Street Naval Station
The U.S. Navy, as a part of its
Navy / Marine Corps Intranet project, required a 9,000 square foot data center
at this naval base. PDG's services included site evaluation, programming and construction
drawings for this data center, including new construction of a UPS building and
generator enclosure. PDG worked with base personnel to resolve sensitive environmental
issues and overcome site constraints.
The 32nd Street Naval Station
was one of many data centers completed by Pacific Design Group for the Navy and
Marines. Our company was retained to lead the evaluation and design effort at
bases throughout the western United States. Our role was that of the project Architect
in charge of the overall project design and coordination for EDS and Rancho Santa
Fe Technology Services, the contract leads with the Navy.
